Oryzon´s first own product on the market will be Gyneco-Dx, a new system for the early detection of cervical cancer, jointly developed with Laboratorios Reig Jofre and for which marketing authorisation is scheduled for January 2012.

The clinical study, conducted in 16 Spanish hospitals has verified that Gyneco-Dx is 97% reliable in the detection of tumors. Gyneco-Dx allows an out-patient diagnosis from uterine aspirates, thus avoiding the need for a hysteroscopy in patients.
